Teddie Dorp / Teddy Town:
The TygerBear Foundation, offering a comprehensive package of Therapy, Support, Training, Caring and Prevention, is the only of its kind in South Africa. This unit is unique because of their holistic approach to all kinds of trauma, and a wide age spectrum, from pre-birth to 18 year. Examples of such trauma includes physical, psychological, sexual and emotional child abuse, unwanted pregnancies, neglect, illness and hospitalization, chronic and terminal illnesses for e.g. cancer, substance abuse, suicide attempts, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, gang violence, divorce, school bullying etc. |
